What this preview stores

The browser planner stores your country and stay dates in this browser’s local storage. The iPhone app stores them in a local file and saves your reminder and tracking preferences on the device. Neither planner creates an account or sends your stays to Skylake Labs. The browser planner never requests location access.

Optional iPhone location tracking

With your permission, the iPhone app uses Apple’s location and geocoding services to identify your country. Country lookup may send a temporary location to Apple. Stayline saves country codes, stay dates, a last-observed timestamp and review status on your device; it does not retain raw coordinates. There is no Stayline location server.

Background detection requires appropriate location access and depends on iOS delivery. You can disable it in the app or revoke permission in iPhone Settings. Manual entry remains available. Detected border dates and missed periods should be reviewed.

Backups and reminders

You can export a JSON backup and restore it in either planner. The file contains your stay dates and countries, including detected stays: review them before exporting and share the file only where you intend. Live tracking status is not transferred. Restoring replaces your saved stays after confirmation. Browser storage can be cleared by your browser, so keep a backup. iPhone device backups may include app data.

Optional iPhone reminders are scheduled locally, one day before saved departures. The browser does not send background reminders.

No advertising or analytics

This preview loads no advertising, analytics, remote fonts or tracking scripts. External official-guidance links open websites with their own policies. Example mode is separate from your saved data.

Website hosting

The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes technical request data, such as your IP address and browser information, to deliver and secure the site. Your locally saved stays are not included in those requests. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
